In short. The Frost client, website, name and logo belong to the operator. Minecraft, Hypixel and Discord belong to their owners. If you think something on Frost infringes your copyright or trademark, send us a notice with the details below and we will look at it promptly.
§1 What Frost owns #
The Frost client software, the frostclient.xyz website and its text, design, code, screenshots and recordings made with Frost, the Frost name, the frozen-block logo, the built-in cosmetics created for Frost, and Frost's documentation are owned by Frost or licensed to it. You may link to the site and share its pages. Do not copy the client or redistribute site content as your own.
§2 What others own #
- Minecraft and its content belong to Mojang AB and Microsoft. Footage on this site shows Minecraft gameplay.
- Hypixel and Hypixel SkyBlock belong to Hypixel Inc.
- Discord belongs to Discord Inc.
- Open-source components in the client belong to their authors and are used under their licenses; see the EULA.
- The site's fonts, Bricolage Grotesque and Figtree, are used under the SIL Open Font License.
See Third-party platforms for the affiliation statement.
§3 Content you add #
Frost hosts little user content: nicknames for your Minecraft accounts on the Bazaar page and, in the client, cosmetics you import, which stay on your computer. Bug reports and messages you post in the Frost Discord server are stored by Discord. You keep the rights in what you create. You give Frost permission to store and display it as needed to provide the service, and to use bug reports to fix Frost.
Only add content you have the right to use.
§4 Report infringement #
Send a notice through a support ticket in the Frost Discord server, titled "Copyright notice". Include:
- your name and a way to contact you;
- a description of the copyrighted work or trademark you say is infringed;
- where the infringing material is (URL, Discord channel and message link, or client version and feature);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review notices promptly, remove or disable material that is clearly infringing, and tell the person who posted it where we can.
§5 Counter-notices #
If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, send a counter-notice the same way with: your contact details; what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court; and your signature. We may forward it to the person who made the original notice.
§6 Repeat infringers #
We remove access to Frost's services, including the Frost Discord server, for people who repeatedly infringe others' rights.
§7 US DMCA designated agent #
Frost has not registered a designated agent with the US Copyright Office. Send notices as described above.
§8 False notices #
Do not send a notice unless you are sure. Knowingly false notices can make you liable for damages, including under US law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
