In short. Do not attack, abuse or overload Frost's systems, do not pirate or resell licenses, do not pay fraudulently, and do not use Frost to break the law. This policy covers Frost's own website, license service, Discord server and software.
§1 What this policy covers #
This policy applies to frostclient.xyz, market.frostclient.xyz, the Frost license service, the Frost client, Frost accounts and licenses, and the Frost Discord server. It is part of the Terms of Service.
It does not authorise anything that another service's rules forbid. In particular, it does not make it acceptable to break Hypixel's rules, Mojang's EULA or Discord's terms; those platforms enforce their own rules, as explained in Third-party platforms and game-account risk.
§2 Frost's systems #
Do not:
- access or try to access accounts, data, admin functions or systems you are not authorised to use;
- probe, scan or test the security of Frost systems, except under the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy;
- flood, overload or disrupt Frost services, including denial-of-service attacks, or bypass rate limits;
- upload or send malware, or use Frost to spread it;
- send forged, replayed or automated requests to Frost's account, payment, license or statistics interfaces, other than through the official client and website;
- scrape the website or the market data service in a way that harms its performance, or use automated means to create accounts;
- interfere with other users' use of Frost.
§3 Accounts and credentials #
Do not:
- use, sell or share someone else's account, password, session, license key or Discord account;
- try to obtain other people's credentials, including by phishing or by pretending to be Frost staff;
- create new accounts, or use someone else's account or license, to get around a suspension or ban from Frost.
§4 Licenses and piracy #
Do not:
- sell, resell, rent, share or give away a license key, or an account that holds one;
- use a license on more than one computer, or help others do so;
- run the client in a virtual machine, emulator, sandbox or cloud or streamed desktop, or fake or spoof hardware identifiers, to get around the one-computer binding;
- crack, patch, modify or redistribute the client, or remove or bypass its license checks;
- generate, guess or distribute license keys;
- publish or distribute leaked, cracked or unofficial Frost builds.
§5 Payments #
Do not:
- pay with funds or crypto assets you are not entitled to use, or that come from crime;
- try to get a license without paying, for example by manipulating payment notifications;
- reverse a payment you made while keeping the license, unless you are exercising a right the law gives you;
- use Frost's checkout to get around sanctions or the payment provider's rules.
§6 Other people #
Do not:
- impersonate Frost, its staff or anyone else;
- harass, threaten or dox anyone, or post anyone's personal information, in the Frost Discord server or elsewhere through Frost;
- use Frost to scam or defraud other players, including real-money trading scams;
- upload content that infringes someone else's rights, such as cosmetics you do not have rights to share.
§7 Unlawful use #
Do not use Frost for anything illegal where you are or where Frost is operated.
§8 What happens if you break this policy #
We match the response to how serious, how long and how repeated the breach is. We may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend your account for a time, revoke your license, or report the matter to the authorities or the payment provider. A person reviews the evidence first. The consequences and your rights are set out in the Terms.
To report abuse, open a support ticket in the Frost Discord server. To report a security vulnerability, follow the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
